Chad Bachynski is thrilled to announce his candidacy for Mayor of Regina. As a long time resident with a strong commitment to safety and affordability, Chad is dedicated to making Regina a better place for all of its residents.

With extensive experience working on and leading major construction projects, Chad has a deep understanding of government bid processes and can help the city spend capital dollars more effectively. His work with community organizations has allowed him to connect directly with the issues and concerns of residents throughout the city.

Chad’s leadership approach focuses on bringing together people with diverse backgrounds and opinions to collectively determine the best outcomes. He prides himself on leading, coaching, and guiding teams toward specific goals.

As Mayor, he will prioritize process efficiency, infrastructure investment, and overall fiscal responsibility.

Capital Projects
Chad will review the roadmap and prioritization of all capital projects to ensure that the city is spending the right money at the right time. He will also prioritize a potential 24-hour construction schedule of core city infrastructure and main road artery construction projects.
Community
Chad is committed to fostering a stronger, healthier community by supporting programs and initiatives that address addiction and mental health challenges. Additionally, he will allocate resources to enhance public safety and strengthen law enforcement efforts to effectively reduce crime.
Accessibility
Chad aims to prioritize public transit effectiveness, ease of access throughout the city, and distribute more services throughout the city to minimize travel. This will ensure that all residents can easily access the services they need.
